Hi, I've been researching my ancestry since my first year at sixth form (en francais, c'est la lycée) in 2002/3, and what a ride it has been! I have over 300 people in my tree on Genes Reunited (http://www.genesreunited.co.uk) and it's been brilliant. Here's a list of surnames that are blood relatives of mine, starting from the earliest: * Arkinstall * Crathley * Carey * Johnson * Hand * Walker * Everett * Brown * Currie There are a whole host of others that are descendants of someone who married my great great aunt Daisy, but it would be pointless to include them here, not to mention time consuming (there's about 100-200 surnames in that side). There's another group, from my paternal side, which I won't include here either... no, I don't have a grudge against my father, it's just that his side is Bangladeshi and they don't tend to register their births, etc, so you can imagine how ridiculously difficult and nonetheless impossible it is (almost Herculean in the tracking stakes).
