Ann Fogarty and James Duffy both born in Ireland, Armaugh (Northern Ireland).

Matilda "Emma" Colley was Richard Whycke Rutter's first wife who died at childbirth at age 25 in 1887. They had the following children: Mary and Laura. Richard then married Elizabeth Rutter and they had Elizabeth Agnus who later legally changed her name to Edna Agnus. Richard Rutter was born at Cape of Good Hope. Either off Africa or England... Not sure.

Captain Charles Rutter was Richard's father and mother was Annie Ross. Richard Rutter was born in Lancashire, England. He is buried in Silverland Cemetary in Cobalt, Ontario. He was a baker and a saloon keeper. Richard and Elizabeth were married in Saint Columbskille Catholic Church in Uptegrove, Ontario.

Edna Rutter was born in Burkes Falls, Ontario. Her mother was Elizabeth Duffy.

Edna Agnus Rutter parents were Richard Rutter and Elizabeth Duffy. They had Agnus Elizabeth, Pearl Ilene, Annie, and Eva. Her half sisters were Mary and Laura.

Pearl Ilene Rutter died at the family residence in Burkes Falls,Ontario, May 6, 1909. She was 10 years, 8 months, and 13 days. Cause of death was scarlet fever (?). From family residence on Ontario Street at 8 am, Saturday, May 8. G.T.R. sent to thence by train to Orillia (by Toronto) for interment.

Elizabeth Duffy's brothers and sisters are: James, William, Peter, Patrick, John, Mary, and Joseph.

Elizabeth Duffy Rutter ran a boarding house in Cobalt, Ontario. She took in roomers (men who worked in the mines).
