Married Lucinda (Lucinday) Dennison, she may be Cherokee Indian, have absolutly no infromation on Lucinda, except that she was a cook for the Calvary when John served. She is also buried in Carl Junction Missouri

Served in the Illinois 29th Infantry. His brothers George, Pleasant G and one other served with him. He was born in Kentucky to George Waters and Mary (unknown Maiden name)
Died in Carl Junction Missouri.
Married Emily Jane VanBebber in Missouri. Owned a house on Waters street and had a small farm there.

was also married to a Mary Maiden name is believed to be Lee.
