A while back my sister and I started talking about family trees and for Christmas she bought me this wonderful book and started a hand written ledger of lots of our family history. Christie and I had just gotten married so the family tree had just grown by at least double, so the family tree and documenting it was important to us.
I thought the hand written book was a perfect start, but we soon realized that the task of hand writing this tree would soon be a full time job. Enter the internet and the Family Tree Maker, it was so easy and before we knew it we had thousands of records thanks to Christie, Jennifer (my sister), Ruth (my grandmother), James & Anna Marie (my parents), Caroline (my mom), Steve (my uncle), Jim (my uncle), and many others!!! This was a wonderful start and we hope to go all the way back from the start of written history.
I hope one day we'll have family reunions where we can all enter new family members into the tree be united as one HUGE family!
