I am interested in the Gilbreaths that descend from John Gilbreath and Mary Coffee, and their son and his wife, Andrew Gilbreath and Mary Richards of Maury County, Tennessee. Andrew of Maury County, Tennessee came to Wood County, Texas in the 1850's and settled there with his family. Andrew's family included his sons: James, Joel, Hugh or Hough, Andrew Farrgie and Amos; and Andrew's daughter, Jane.
I have been able to collect a great deal of information on Joel, Hough, Andrew Farrgie and Jane. I have some information on James and Amos
I am not sure who the parents of John Gilbreath were. I have been told that they were Andrew Galbraith and his wife, Nancy Ann Hicklin of Rockbridge County, Virginia, but I have no definite proof.
