My Gillette research started when I married into this family almost 10 years ago. I was stunned to find out that there was
very little if any information available. My husband knew, of
course his parents names and one grandparent, that was it. His
brothers and sisters were no different. I knew that his grandmother had died very early in life but all of her children
had gone to their grave never knowing what had taken her life.
That was the mystery that started me on a slow but very informative adventure through the Gillette family history. We
just lost my dear sweet mother in law last week so I am on my
own now as far as information goes. She was the only one left
except for an aunt back in New York that has been very helpful
with clues and facts.
