I am looking for info on my Great-grandfather. I only knew him as Grampy Volertsen. He was a German immigrant with 2 Daughters, Loraine (Weaver)and Garnet (Gray). I believe he was a cabinet maker, and settled in Shenandoah, Iowa. The Weavers are in CA last I knew. John Weaver died several years ago and was an Ophthamologist. His wife is Julia. My father John "Jack" Gray was (we think) adopted in Greensboro, NC at age 6 months. There was once a pedigree showing that the Gray family were descended from Robert, the Bruce and included Miles Standish. I saw it once at age 14 and have since lost track of the pedigree chart.
