I Have found the following information in my search so Far:

William H. Gilfillan married Mary Cronkrite in Brockville,Elizabethtown, In county Leeds & Grenville Ontario Canada on July 29, 1834. My great-Great grandfather Joseph was then born on Oct. 7, 1840. Joseph moved to Rockford, MI and married Mary Ester Hicks (b. 27Mar1848) on Feb. 3,1864. they had 4 children:
Elva O. b. Dec. 10,1864
William H. b. May 18, 1864
Clarence Ralph Burton b.May 5,1880
Dollie Mae b.April 24, 1885
