My research follows the family of James Patrick Gillon of New Brunswick, originally of Ireland who emigrated to Taunton, MA; through his son Thomas of Lisbon, New Hampshire; through his grandson, George of Richland, WA; to his great grandchildren in Massachusetts. It includes the Aldrich, Bailey, Bauer and Stone relations mostly in the Grafton County, N.H. and Marion County, Ohio areas.
In addition, it follows the family of John Walsh of Lismore, Waterford, Ireland and his children Patrick and Michael Walsh who emigrated to Boston, MA in the early 1900s and their many descendants. Some of the surnames in this family include: Danahy, Scanlon, Fennessey, Driscoll, McWeeney, Landers, Murphy, O'Neil, McGrath, Browne, Doran, Morrissey, O'Malley. I wish to find more information on John and his parentage.
Thirdly, the Lohneses, Feindels, and McCallions of Lunenburg and Kings County, Nova Scotia. I am most interested in the origins of Daniel McCallion whose first mention is 1834 upon the birth of his 1st child in Aylesford, NS. It is said he was born in 1808 somewhere in Ireland. Other surnames associated with this group include: Brennan, Weigel, Simpson, Moore and Gantland.
A complete view of this family can be seen on the Rootsweb's WorldConnect Project for the Gillon-Walsh Family.
