Best as I can tell our Great Grandparents came from Western Iowa / East Nebraska perhaps in the mid-1800s. Most decendents stayed in that area untill the 1960s and 1970s. Now we are as about as wind strewn as one can imagine. Gilmore's now have family members from California to Florida with a smattering remaining in the Rocky Mountain area. It is hard to believe that a family as large and as close as this one once was is now located so far apart.
The 'Quest' has begun! Any and all Gilmore family information available is welcome. (revenuers and salesmen beware!)
