I am just geting started looking for my husband family tree and my own.I really haven't gotten that far and am just learning of some things to do and look for. I know that my husband fathers name was Raymond Walter Gillis from West Virginia and his parents names were Okey Gillis and Pearl Gillis. They were from Rivesville West Virginia. My fathers name is Frederick Earl Pearson and His fathers name was Joseph William Pearson and his mother was Jenny Belle Humphreys Pearson and they were from Virginia. I believe they were from the Piedmont area of Virginia. My mothers name was Claudia Garnetta Thomas Pearson and her parents were Earl Franklin Thomas and Lillian G Martz Thomas Crosier and they were from thePiedmont area of Virginia also. I know that my cousin has done a lot of research on my side of the family but I can't find the address to get in touch with her. My husbands Aunt has done a lot on his side but she can't seem to get any of that to us so I'm working on my own. If anyone can help me I would be very very thankful.
