I have been searching my family roots for about ten years.My Great Grandmother was Mary Eliza Stump, Her Father was a Leonard, Born in 1824 in Virginia. His Father was a George born after 1785 and died about sept 1, 1875 from Hampshire, Virginia. I have not been able to connect this George to his father.
I could use some help if any one has some. I am new at this internet but have done alot or research at the Family research Center of the Mormon Church. There is a book for those that might be interested called The Stumps Decendants of the Four Michaels By Paul Hardman that has alot of useful information it was copied in 1941 from the original one in 1940.
