"The Gilbys and Wrights of Australia"

Updated May 16, 2007

About Our Family Research

This is a new project to go back and have a look at the interconnections between the origins of these two families as well as maternal counterpart connections. Which relate to the Hollands the Goods and the Greens. To find out when each stream of family first emigrated to Australia. As well as any other relevant information relating to these families.
There is some recent information on the Australian National War archives, which relates to Phillip Earnest Good who served as a light horseman during WW1 and likewise his brother Robert Bruce Good who served during WW1 as an ambulance officer at Gallipoli. The respective father and uncle of Mary Wright(nee Good). Mary Good married George Wright, who is also listed on the Australian National War archives for serving in WW2.
The Goods and Greens connect to the Wright's through George and Marys marriage. The Hollands connect to the Gilby's through the marriage of Albert Cyril Gilby who married Gertrude Eva Holland. "Mitzpah" From here the research begins.
