I am at the beginning of my research. I would like to find my biological father's family past his parents. The only information I have is that my grandfather, Osker, took his wife's (Mary Gilpin's) last name when they married. This was approximately 55 years ago in Kentucky. If you have any information that may lead to solve this mystery, it would be greatly appreciated.

My father is James Barry Gilpin. He was born in Bargetown, Kentucky, May 7, 1956. He has two natural brothers and two sisters that were adopted.
