I am just starting out researching Gillis' from Nova Scotia who ended up in Winnipeg, Chorney/Czernega's from Austro-Hungary who ended up in Ethelbert, Manitoba, and Osborne's who were in/around Stratford-on-Avon about 1900, one Thomas Osborne who married an Emily Spencer, rumoured to be related to the Earl of Spencer, but... I can't make that connection...

Also related to an Annie Currie, who sewed the buttons on Alexander Graham Bell's vest some time before 1928 in/around Baddeck -- she passed away some time in the 1960's or 70's, in her late 90's or perhaps early 100's, "still having the Gaelic"... If anything here looks familiar, please email me!
