I have just started to do a Family Tree, and I have a lot of information to get verified and make sure the facts are right. Years ago my Aunt Helen ( Gillespie) LaGrand, did a lot of research on our family. She also had family reunions, the last being in 1968. When her health got bad, then passed away, little or no information has been passed around.That's the reason I'm trying to fill in the past. Elijah Galaspy, (Gillespie) and Mary Rabon or (Rabun) had 11 children. Sarah, Dorothy, Thankful, Dianna, Trye, Alexander, Mary, Rebeca, Elijah jr. Mahala, and John R. Other married last names are, Laffoon, Dunnegan, Hodges, Marsh, Lewis, Creed, York, Needham, Peele, Brickell, Cockerham, Bryant, Bryan, and many more. I guess we need a place to start.
