I was brought up in the Gallowgate, the east end of Glasgow, with my mother, father, two brothers and one sister. My grandfather was Francis Connelly and my grandmother was MaryAnn who used to live in Greenvale Street in the milend in Glasgow. My father also named Francis Connelly, sadly has passed away along with his younger brother John. My father's brother John was married and has two children Angela and (Catherine I think), I was young and when she was born Carol and John broke up. My gran sent them birthday gifts for a while, but we never saw them again. I am the eldest and have two boys aged 11 and 13. My brother Frankie has 4 boys, ages 23, 16, 13, 9 and 1 girl aged 7, a grandson aged 3 and a daughter-in-law, my younger brother Gary has 2 daughters 15 and 18, my sister is engaged to be married soon. My gran's sister Nellie(married name Dundas used to live around the corner with her son Chick. The Connelly's were a big family but I cannot remember ever seeing any of them what a shame.
