I have been searching courthouses, libraies and the internet attempting to find a link for my Great Grandfather Dr. Abraham Gillaspie before 1851.

My father Forrest William Gillespie had a hard cover booklet titled "A MEMOIR OF THE LIFE OF JAMES BRYSON GILLESPIE". My older brother Roger and I as small boys tore up most of the pages. I have the hard cover and pages 45 to 52. I have placed copies of these pages in "Related Files". Since my father had this booklet there must be a link with my Grandfather Nelson Clark Morton Gillaspie and my Great Grandfather Dr. Abraham Gillaspie with Captain James Bryson Gillespie. What is this missing link?
