This family tree has been compiled with respect to all of our loved ones who can no longer share our physical realm, but with whom we share a common past. For myself, this work is done with love and honor to the most recent loss in our family, my sister Stephanie. She was not old enough to share my passion and interest in our family's history, but I know she would have wanted her beautiful son to know his roots. It is to her memory and his life that this tree is lovingly dedicated.
Most of the research for this genealogical search came from the memories of myself, Lesley, and my dad, Michael Gillum. Together we were able to compile this seven generations of names and relationships. More information will need to be added in order to complete the process, but this is what we have thus far. Some of that information can be gathered from other family members, but some will be lost and unknown without the intervention of other resources.
Wesley Manzo Gillum had a past that was mysterious to his decendants. He was estranged from his family of origin at a very young age, so little is known about them or their history. My hope is that this website works to join the two sides of the family so that our history can be completed. Thank you for your interest and time and God Bless You.
Thank You, Lesley Gillum-Hunter
