My name is Linda Eve Gilliam. I am 20 years old and I do not know a lot about my family's history, but know enough to get me started I suppose. On my fathers side these are the last names that I know of starting with Gilliam, Raymer, Essex, Oldenburg, Kimbrough, Bundy. If you know of anyone with these names around this area please contact me. Also, on my fathers side: Gilliam's from the Texas area (possibly around Oklahoma & Colorado), decendants of Marion Francis Gilliam who originated from Virginia and then on to Tennessee way back in the day, and then onto Texas. There is a county of Marion County in Tennessee who was named sfter these before they moved onto Texas. On my mothers side are the names of King, Benson. Any decendants of a Dr. Geaorge Benson please contact me if possible. My grandfather's name was Marvin King. His oldest daughter's name was Rebecca. She ran away when she was about 14 as for she got pregnant. No one ever seen or heard from her since. Thia is was back in the 40's, so no one knows a married name or anything for her, She should be well into her 60's by now if still living. My mother never even met her. she ran away before she was born. Please help me find some of my relatives and ancestors...
