I,Louise Burzynski Gilley was born in Bruce,Alberta,Canada. My father was born in Sterdyn, Poland,Sep. 22 1894,he came to USA in 1909,then to Canada in 1912. He homesteaded in the Gunn,Sangudo area of Alberta, later worked in the coal mines of Drumheller Alberta. He married Pauline Winczura in 1920, they raised 6 girls. In 1929 they bought land near Bruce Alberta where he farmed until his passing in 1964.
I would like to find info. on his parents, also grandparents. I believe his fathers first name was Vincent, I sorta recall him saying he had a brother John and a sister Helen,there may have been other
siblings. His mothers maiden name was Boltoze I do not recall if I ever heard her first name. His parents remained in Poland, he lost contact during the second world war. He did mention Uncles in Milwaukee,Wi. also an Uncle who was a conductor on a railroad in Montana.
