I'm Looking for family members to help fill in gaps. Our family is from Venango, Butler, Clinton, Mercer, and Sandy Creek Counties in general. Surnames of families are Adams, Hovis, Hofius, Westton, Phipps, Wareham, Hoffman, Huffman, Coast, Ghost and Walter(s).Also, McCool.
I found a picture of one Norman Adams from Grove City College, Grove City, PA; from the class of 1930. It was posted on the "PAGEN" web site under WESTERN PA OLD PHOTOS. Also, found land deed from McCool-Adams; this was under Venago County's part of the site. I'm unable to contact the submitters.
