We just completed the first ever Egan/Eagen Family Reunion in Great Falls and Butte, Montana, August 2006. This Home Page is for all who want to access our family information.

From Ireland to the US in New York State, John and his wife Margarett Kelley Eagen raised seven children. Only one, Martin, born in Springfield, IL in 1871, married and had children. It is the union of Martin and Mary Ann Ryan that produced 14 children, of whom 13 lived while the family migrated across IL, SD, ND and MT while building railroad bed with horse-drawn equipment. Retiring from railroad building in Montana, the descendants of Martin and Mary Ann have spread across the US.

We celebrate them and endeavor to find out more about from where they came.
