These Jeffersons came from VA and migrated to NC, GA, AR, OK and TX. They are not the family of the US president. These Cowdreys stem from Benjamin Cowdrey of London, Eng. & Northamptonshire Co., VA, and migrated to the southern states of SC, GA, AR, OK and TX.
