The Laurin/Gilliam Family Has been having Family Reunions for many years.As the family grew smaller because of deaths,I began to wonder more about my fathers and mothers history to pass on to my grandchildren and my husbands family as well.I wanted my grandchildren to know more about us, then we knew about our families.Hopefully the things I record about our families will help them to put a face and place and date to each member of our family.I am having a difficult time finding imformation on my mothers grandparents on her mother and fathers side.I only have information on Gladys & Robert Barnier.Robert is native /american and was born at Wapole Island in Kingston Ontario.Gladys Steers was born in London,England.They are both buried in St. Alphonsus Cematery in Windsor,Ontario.My Husbands mother and dad are buried Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Windsor.The Laurin/Gilliam Family Reunions Helped us to know everyone.My husbands family & my family are a combination of german,Irish,Dutch,English,& Native american,& French.
