Looking for information about William Thomas Johnson (b.cir1848)at sea and Jane Barclay Robbie born in Burnima. NSW, Australia on 14 March 1856. Thedy were married on 30 September 1974 at Robbie residence in Bummyumbla, NSW.Settled in Bombala, NSW, Australia and had 10 children before William died on 7th September 1901.
Also looking for information about George Markie born around 1851 in Northhampton, England and Fanny Birch born in Burton on Trent, England around 1856. They married in Burton-on-Trent in 1873 and came to NZ in 1874 along with Fanny's parents, William and Fanny Birch who eventually settled in Gisborne and opened the first shoe repair shop in Gisborne.
Other ancestors include Michael Brennan and Judith Flaherty from Heane in Tiperary, they were fencibles and came to NZ with their three children on the "Clifton" in 1848 and settled as fencilbes in Panmure. Michael was found dead in a stable at Panmure Inn 7th October 1861.
Their daughter Mary, married William Bohen and then after his death married my ggrandfather William Owen on 20th November 1860. We can find no birth or death records for William Owen who is reported to have died at sea during a mutiny, he was one of the crew of a ship plying the Pacific for dubious trade!
