Limited information currently available starts the GINSBURG family tree with a David and Ruth Ginsburg circa 1860 in an area of Europe which has frequently changed from being part of Russia to being incorported into Poland.
In attempt to identify/differentiate this particular GINSBURG family tree from other families with an identical last name I will cite the names of the children of DAVID & RUTH GINSBURG. They are Philip Ginsburg (1883-1965), Ida Bilkovitch/Biele, (1887-1973) Samuel Ginsburg/Grayson (1895-1997) Sarah Chunya/Katzen (1888-1967), Rose Goldstein(1893-1976) Irving Ginsburg (1897-1975). All the above children were born in Europe and emigrated to the United States.
In re to the above mentioned David and Ruth Ginsburg, circa 1860, there is a question, as to whether after the death of said Ruth Ginsburg in the mid 1920s, her husband David emigrated to the United States and died in Binghamton, NY in 1932.
