My research starts with my 5th ggfather Miniard Harris Gipson, who was born in Cherokee Nation, East,SC. His wife's name was Rachel Waller born 1792 in Surry, NC. To them was born David Gipson b. 1810 in Clarke Co., Ga.. He married a woman by the name of Mary Hinsley,who was born about 1813 in Clarke Co., Ga. William Monroe Gipson was born, in 1836, in Clarke Co., Ga.He married Martha Loucinda Tennison who was born in 1842 in Salisbury, Rowan Co., NC.They had a son by the name of Robert Gilmer Gipson, born 1875 in Tishomingo Co., Ms. My great-grandfather married Mary Emma Moore from Arkansas and they had my grandfather, Jesse William Gipson who married Margaret Armanda Danner from Missouri. To them my father was born, Stanley Woodrow Gipson on March 6, 1933. He married Eva Shirleen Lancaster on Aug. 25, 1951, in Oklahoma City, Ok. Up to the present which is me: David Eugene Gipson, b. Aug. 23, 1952, OKC, Ok.
