I have been to Scotland and there I found my great,great,great grandfather's grave. His name is Archibald Cochrane and he was born in Renfrew, Scotland. Through that I found out that my mother's family name was Scottish not Irish. So that was a great load off of my shoulders. I had been on rootsweb and found my husbands ancestors that began in Silesia And we didn't know anyone except his 7 generations in the USofA. But I found there his(Mathias) father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. Thus far I have found just about everyone but not some of the lesser players in our line. It hasn't cost me too much and it was great to find out. What I have. Thanks my life has been a great ride. Can't wait until the next bump in the road. Thanks for letting me share.
