As near as I can tell my Grandpa Sivert and Grandma Otelie came to the US in 1903. They may have come through Canada and then to the US as many other families did. They farmed in Iowa for a short time before homesteading in Northern Minnesota.
We have tried to hold a reunion about every 5 years. In 2002 we are planning a big reunion to celebrate 100 years since my Mothers family can\me from Norway.
