My information comes from my grandmother's bible and census records. I am still researching and will be adding as I collect information. Each year we have decoration day in Asbury, Alabama where my grandmother is buried. Not far from Asbury is Martlin where most of the Abney family is buried, but of course not all. It is a great time to collect information on the family. I have been asking question about my family for many years but only started to take it seriouly when I received my gmother's bible with so much information. My line of Abney's has stopped as there are no more men to carry on the name.
I am using my computer to fill in the blanks and of course I will have to gather documents to prove my information.
