I am attempting to trace the family tree for Louis Lenoir who was 9 years old when slavery ended. He was born in Monroe County, MS and died there in 1909. He married Susan Watson and their children were: Louis Jr,Julia, Julius, Phylliss,and Gentle Henry(who was my grandfather).
