My great, great grandfather Robert was a baker nr Spittal, Berwick in Northumberland in 1869. He was married to Ann Gladstone nee Alder. In 1869 they had a child Robert. (My great grandfather).
He married Isobella Mitcheson and in 1899 had a child Robert Christopher in Gateshead. At this time my great grandfather was a Railway Stoker.
My grandfather married Annie WHEATLEY and was a fitter and turner at a military arsenal in Birtley Co. Durham. My father Robert Christopher was born in 1934 in Gateshead and for most of his life was a Council employee.
