My ancestor, Edward Glennon, married Mary Murray in Kiltoom & Cam in the early 1800's. Some of their children (James b. 1838, John b.1841 & Hugh b.1848)emigrated to England. James returned and settled in Castlesampson, Taughmaconnell. John remained in England and has descendants in the Stockport,(Manchester)area. Another son Patrick b.1861 died a bachelor in Boston. No info is available on Hugh.

There were also three daughters. Ellen b.1862 married Andrew Lenehan and settled in Boston. No info is available on the other daughters Mary b.1843 and Alicia b.1863

James had eight children, Thomas b.1869, Eleanora b.1871, Maria b.1873, Catherine b.1875, Edmund b.1877,William b.1881, Patrick b.1879 & John b. 1884

Thomas, Edmund & John emigrared to the Boston, MA. area. Eleanora and Maria and William remained in the Roscommon area. No info is available on Patrick and Catherine
