My research consists of Glenn and England surnames. The ancestery on the Glenn side has been traced back to Virginia. Where William Glenn and Elizabeth Hamilton married of which one child was born, Septina J. Glenn abt. 1841. Then they moved to Edgar Co. Illionios and a son was born Charles Craig Glenn in 1845.About two years later another son was born in 1847 Franklin (Peachy) Glenn. They both ran off to the Civil War together, before they were of age. Frank was my Great Great Grandfather.
After the war they came back home and settled on their farm near Mitchellville, Iowa. There Frank lived until he decided to move to Dallas Co. Iowa and purchased a piece of land east and south of Adel, Iowa.
