Researching my family line has become an exciting hobby. My father's close family names are Korinek (Czech) and Sigwalt (French). My mother's are Mitchell (UK) and Cheek (English). The Korinek and Mitchell lines have been the hardest to research. I have visited the tiny village of Muttersholtz in Alsace, France where the Sigwalt's lived before immigrating to the US. The Cheek's have a reunion every year, usually in Florida. I hope to plan one in Laurens County, South Carolina where my grandmother and most of her 13 brothers and sisters were born.
