My family has a variety of nationalities, from Italian and German to American Indian. My grandfathers' families migrated from Europe in the early Twentieth century (if I am to believe what I heard growing up, anyway) and faced the hardships of being in a new country. It grew into a large family, with relatives in almost every state. It is so large that I hear names and do not have faces to put with them. It is unfortunate that the best way to meet unknown relatives is at a funeral. My goal is to learn more about my family; maybe we have a celebrity or an adventurer in our midst! The family is steadily growing larger,and when I have children I'd like to be able to tell them about the great ancestors that I have.
