This is Amanda Godio-Becker. Godio is my maiden name and I live in North Carolina. With our families spread so far apart I wanted to create a home page that will act as a reference or family tree for generations to come. With America becoming such a melting pot of nationalities I feel it is important to know your roots and heritage of your family.
My parents are Joseph A. Godio and Rita A. DiBattista, both are of Italian decent.
My Grandparents on my mom's side came over from Italy via Ellis Island and unfortunately we don't have much of their history records. My mother grew up in Upper Darby, PA and moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL with my dad and sister when I was a young child.
My grandparents on my Dad's side were born in the US - however I suspect my great grandparents were from Italy. My dad grew up in Philadelphia, PA and moved my family to Fort Lauderdale, FL when we were young. My dad's sister also moved to Cooper City, FL just around the time my parents did.
My parents and sister still live in Florida and the remainder of my family resides in various parts of Philly.
