Perry Andrew Redwine Bunker b.08-16-1884 in Stone Co.(?), AR.Died 03-09-1971. The son of James P. Bunker and Mary F. Seats. James P. Bunker and Mary Seats m. 09-18-1881 in Carroll Co., AR. They had one daughter named Sarah and were expecting Perry when James was bitten by a rabid dog. He died before Perry was born in 1883 or 1884. Mary remarried a man named Orr and had other children. Perry went to live with his maternal grandmother at age 9 and never knew most of his family history. Sarah married John Bridgeman. She had three sons: Ab Bridgeman, Edgar Bridgeman,and Perry Bridgeman. Additional details I can provide about Perry Andrew are as follows: He was of Cherokee ancestry (3/4). His father was granted land on the Little Piney River in Arkansas by a government Indian land grant but after James Bunker's death I am told Mary was swindled out of it. That is all I can provide about the ancestry of Perry Bunker at this time, but I will keep searching. I can provide more detailed information on descendants.
