Looking for my family in these lines; Goins(Gowings, etc.), Hawks, Puckett, Midkiff (Metcalfe), Deatherage, Shelton, Bolt, Stewart(Stuart), Montgomery, Lowry(Lowery), Davis, Underwood, Helmstetter (Helmstutler), Stack(Stackhouse), Crotts(Kratz), Sparger(Wolfensparger), Forkner(Falconer), Edwards, Pell, Gunnell, Nichols, McMillian(McMillion), Jones, Jurney, Jessup, Hounshell(Hounschell), Holston, Ceasy(Crecy), Cox(Cocke), Cagle, Hiatt(Hiett), Branscome(Branscomb), Quesinberry, Mabry(Mayberry) and so forth and so on... My family and my husband's interweave throughout the counties of southwest Virginia and northwest North Carolina.
This is a work in progress. I try to validate my research through Census records; birth, marriage and death records; family histories, and other sources.
