The Maces of South Dakota

About Our Family Research


I started tracing my family roots about 2 or 3 years ago. Lately I haven't been too diligently lately, but I have been able to gather considerable information that I am compiling at this time. The Maces seem to have made their way from England,to Virginia, up to South Dakota, and finally into California. To date Mace is nearly as common as Smith or Jones. Right now my own little family unit consists of my grandma, three uncles and my mom, ten cousins plus marrieds, and ten second cousins.
