About Our Family Research


Not much info so far, but we are from Interlake region of Manitoba Fisher River to be exact.I myself am from Winnipeg, currently living in Surrey BC. My fathers name was Doug Govereau, mothers name was Eileen Govereau (nee Favell) Her parents were Joseph and Vera Favell. She was 1 of 13 children. I am trying to determine if we are of Metis' descent. There appear to be scrips issued under the Favell name but am unclear if this is our family. Any further info would be great!
