Notes for George Edward Gray: Middle name: Edward Buried at Hilliards Chapel Cem. Stanley, VA or atleast that's where there is a grave stone. Having visited the grave, it is only about 3 feet long, while all others are the normal length. Most males in the family tend to be about 6 feet tall, so he was not a dwarf.
Beside his stone are two matching stones, one with the name of his wife Sudie Mae Turner (no dates) and the other the name of her father Dorman Turner (no dates). Stones all appear the exact same age and design as if they were all placed at the same time. All 3 graves are the only graves that are only 3 feet long.
Date of Death and places unknown. A real mystery. Resided at some point in 1928 in the Brooklyn area of New York. There is no record of birth, death or marriage, although he was married. The surname Grove was used briefly.
Grandson only recalls that he had a thick accent and always made his bed in "white collar" military fashion. There are rumors he may have had a brother in New York, as well as another wife or mistress and possible other children in New York.
