-Caroline does not appear on a census with the family prior to 1870
-Place of birth for Caroline's father is always recorded as other than
Rhode Island, while Otis was born in Rhode Island
-Caroline was actually a "daughter-in-law" it appears, and that either
James or Stephen Bligh were her husband and father of Lillian H. Bligh
-1870 Census, and various preceeding years also use the spelling Bly
