Dorman Turner (b. 1866, d. Bef. 1920)

Dorman Turner (son of Robert Turner and Peachy A Morris)⁶⁰⁹ was born 1866 in Virginia⁶⁰⁹, and died Bef. 1920. He married Mary Magdalene Stroupe on 23 Sep 1896⁶¹⁰, daughter of William Stroupe and Susan Ann Blosser.

Notes for Dorman Turner:
1880 Census shows one "McDorman" Turner living in Greene County who is 22 years old, estimated birth year 1858

Then, no record until 1910, with only one Dorman Turner appearing at age 44, making estimated birth year 1866.
This is my correct ancestor since he appears with his children whom are ancestors I did meet in life.

Are the 1880 and 1910 Dorman the same person? Would almost have to be since there's only one person out of all records with that name each year. So what is the real year of birth??? If they are the same person if would have to be 1859/1858 since the 1860 census records Dorman to be 1 year old.

Other OneWorldTRee submissions seen are completely in error with fathers being born after sons.
Does anyone have correct records that are reliable?
