Marshall Wilborn Maynor (b. 06 Mar 1838, d. 25 Oct 1919)

Marshall Wilborn Maynor (son of William H. Maynor and Elizabeth Cox) was born 06 Mar 1838 in Georgia²⁵⁰, and died 25 Oct 1919 in Jackson (Hinds County), Mississippi²⁵⁰. He married Susannah Jane Swittenberg on 17 Nov 1859 in Smith County, MS²⁵⁰, daughter of William Swittenberg and Elizabeth Harriet Summer.

Notes for Marshall Wilborn Maynor:
Marshall Maynor moved with his family from Georgia to Russell County, Alabama, as a small child. He moved on to Smith County, Mississippi, between 1850 and 1859, where he was farming by 1860. He served in the Civil War (MS 46th Infantry, Company G) and was captured in Vicksburg on 4 July 1863. After the war he returned to farming in Smith County. By 1880 he and Susannah and their children had moved to Hinds County, Mississippi.
