George Counts in "Johann Wendel KUNTZ" (one of the family histories on the Dutch Fork web site) writes:
"Kuntz arrived 11 Sep 1732 in Philadelphia on the ship "Pennsylvania Merchant", captained by John Steadman, having sailed from Rotterdam to Philadelphia by way of Cowes. He lived in Providence, York, PA, 1733 and 1734 where he was married and his first son was born. He lived in Conewago, York, PA, from about 1735 to about 1747 before heading to Dutch Fork, SC, area about 1748 with his wife and 5 children."
