About Our Family Research


I am a sixth generation of the Umphress family of Dallas, Texas. I am searching our wonderful history. Our family originated in England and retired in Dallas, Texas. It is those years in between I am curious to find out more about. My great-great grandfather was Mitchell Brown Umphress,then Francis Euphrates Umphress,Sr., then Francis Euphrates Umphress, Jr then Albert Francis Umphress.They were pioneers. Preachers, Teachers and Ranchers.
