The Grubbs of New Jersey/Waynesboro Georgia

My Grandfather was from Waynesboro Georgia. His mother worked for the mayor of Waynesboro from 10-16 years of age. She gave birth to John and Roosevelt Grubbs who are mixed there mother is African American and there father was white. She was shunned from her family because of the pregnancy. I would like to find my ancestors whether they be white black or orange. There are about 10 Grubbs women here in Jersey, and we would like to know our history.
