We are about to embark on our second Powers Family Reunion in Owensboro, Hawesville and Louisville, Kentucky. Thirty members and descendents from the Joshua B. Powers and Ethleel Powers Engelke line will assemble November 22, 2007 at the historic Brown Hotel in Louisville.

Over the next 3 days we will tour family sites in Owensboro and Hawesville under the direction of uber organizer, Joshua Bryant Powers III (Josh). We will learn amazing facts about our ancestors which will give us a glimpse into some of the "stuff" that made us who we are today.

In addition we will get to go to the Kentucky Derby Museum and experience the races at Churchill Downs. We will attend a BlueGrass Music Jam and tour the International Bluegrass Museum. At a final dinner together we will stuff ourselves at the world famous Moonlight Bar-B-Q Inn.

So, off to an another Amazing Adventure!! See you there!
